Area of metal sheet = Plate Length X Plate Width
Volume = Plate area X Plate Thickness.
Plate weight = Metal Density X Volume

Plate Width = 3 Feet.
Plate Thickness = 2 mm.
Metal Density = 7.85 g/cubic cm.
Calculations
Length 2 Feet = 2ft X 304.8 = 609.6 mm
Width 3 Feet = 3ft X 304.8 = 914.4
Plate Thickness = 2 mm.
Plate Volume = Length X Width X Thickness = 609.6 X 914.4 X 2 = 1,114,836.48 cubic mm. = 1114.83648 Cubic cm.
Density in g/cubic mm = 7.85 g/cubic cm
Weight of sheet = Plate volume X Density = 1114.83648 X 7.85 = 8751.466368 grams = 8.751466368 Kg.
